1. Electrochromic defrosting technology

Electrochromic defrosting technology is a promising advanced defrosting method. This technology utilizes the characteristics of electrochromic materials. When electricity is applied, the optical and electrical properties of the material undergo reversible changes. When applied to bus glass, by embedding an electrochromic film in the glass interlayer, when frost is detected on the glass surface, a certain voltage is applied to change the film's light transmittance and thermal conductivity. On the one hand, the film can melt the frost layer by adjusting its own temperature; on the other hand, the changed light transmittance can also prevent the frost from condensing again. Compared with traditional heating defrosting, electrochromic defrosting can more accurately control the temperature and light transmittance of the glass surface, reduce energy consumption, and will not affect the performance and life of the bus glass due to local overheating.

2. Ultrasonic defrosting technology

Ultrasonic defrosting technology uses the vibration and energy of ultrasonic waves to remove frost on bus glass. An ultrasonic generator is installed around or inside the bus glass. When defrosting is required, the generator emits ultrasonic waves of a specific frequency and intensity. Ultrasonic waves propagate in the glass and frost layer, generating high-frequency vibrations, which weaken the adhesion between the frost layer and the glass surface. At the same time, the energy of ultrasonic waves can also destroy the ice crystal structure inside the frost layer, causing the frost to be transformed into small water droplets, which slide off the glass surface under the action of gravity or airflow. The advantage of this technology is that it is a non-contact defrosting method that will not cause any physical damage to the bus glass, and the defrosting speed is fast, and a good view can be restored in a short time.

3. Nano coating defrosting technology

Nano coating defrosting technology is to apply a special nano material coating on the surface of the bus glass. This nano coating has the characteristics of super hydrophobicity and low surface energy. When frost forms on the glass surface, due to the hydrophobicity of the coating, the contact angle between the frost and the glass increases, and the frost is difficult to adhere firmly to the glass. In addition, the nano coating can also adjust the temperature conduction of the glass surface, so that the glass temperature is higher than the dew point temperature to a certain extent, thereby preventing the formation of frost. Moreover, the nano coating has good durability, and one coating can work for a long time, reducing the trouble of frequent defrosting, and also reducing the energy consumption of the car.

4. Heat pump defrosting technology combined with intelligent control system

The application of heat pump defrosting technology in automobiles combined with intelligent control systems is an efficient solution. The heat pump system absorbs heat from the surrounding environment of the car through circulating working medium, and then transfers the heat to the bus glass. The intelligent control system accurately controls the operation of the heat pump according to parameters such as ambient temperature, humidity and glass surface temperature. When it is detected that the glass may be frosted, the heat pump is started in advance to keep the glass at a suitable temperature to avoid frost formation. This technology can not only effectively defrost, but also can be flexibly adjusted according to actual conditions, achieving the dual goals of energy saving and efficient defrosting, and improving the comfort and safety of the car in cold weather.
